“Spectacular! Loved the novelty of an airboat but the intimacy of the entire experience. It’s unmatched. The knowledge and the skill of the operator was a definite plus. But the opportunity to get SO close and to feel the power and magnitude of the flow is just magnificent”.

Juneau Alaska Flightseeing Tour and Airboat Adventure
Airboat Alaska offers a Juneau Alaska flightseeing tour to the influx of seasonal travelers that visit Juneau, Alaska between the months of May and September. Guests are picked up at the pier by our friendly staff and escorted through downtown Juneau to the Juneau International Airport. After arriving at Coastal Helicopter Inc. they are given a safety briefing and some weather appropriate rain gear (if needed). Once everyone is geared up, they will board the helicopter and enjoy the beginning portion of their Juneau Alaska flightseeing tour. A 15-20 minute flight will bring guests over the Tongass National forest and around the Juneau Icefield. Guests will fly over the mighty Taku Glacier where the pilot will land the helicopter to allow guests a 10 minute walkabout. Again guests will board the helicopter and fly to our property across the river from the glacier to board our airboat. Once fitted in life jackets, guests will enjoy a 45 minute airboat ride that travels the entire terminus of the glacier, at some points within arm’s reach.
